The Role & Responsibilities
The Partner Growth and Oversight Manager will support the Head of Consumer Partnerships and will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust oversight of both personal loan and savings partners. The role will focus on monitoring partner performance and maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations. In addition, the position will actively assist with the onboarding of new partners by engaging with internal stakeholders across risk, compliance, operations, legal and product teams, as well as external partners to ensure a seamless and efficient onboarding process. Work closely with partners to manage and control the delivery of new pricing structures and product offerings on an ongoing basis. Ensure that all pricing changes and product launches are implemented accurately, aligned with Shawbrook’s strategic objectives, and communicated effectively to internal and external stakeholders. This role is critical in building strong, sustainable relationships that align with Shawbrook’s values while driving growth through strategic partnerships and maintaining high standards of governance and customer outcomes.
Key Role Responsibilities
Partner Growth
- Gain a full understanding of the Shawbrook’s Personal Loan & Savings products and propositions and be able to confidently articulate this in both internal and external surroundings.
- Drive growth within existing and new market segments for lending and savings.
- To liaise with broker partners in person, by telephone and electronically to conduct business reviews and analysis, problem solve and identify new opportunities.
- Work closely with partners on pricing structures and product offerings.
- Assist with the onboarding of new partners by liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure partners are live within agreed timescales.
Partner Oversight
- Oversee personal loan and savings partners, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
- Conduct regular partner reviews, document findings, and report outcomes.
- Assist with the Annual Audit of partners and work with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve this.
- Ensure adherence to Consumer Duty and fair customer outcomes.
- Maintain strong governance and risk management frameworks.
- To obtain the relevant monthly and quarterly data from Savings partners that are required by the Regulatory reporting Team within the relevant SLAs.
- To obtain quarterly Financial Crime data and share with the Financial Crime team on a quarterly basis.
Operational Responsibilities
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to ensure any updates are actioned and communicated promptly.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure new prices or products go live within agreed SLAs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of pricing changes and implementation activities.
Governance
- Assist with the creation of the monthly Governance packs and create and distribute the minutes to the attendees
- Representing and building strong relationships with the colleagues, customers, suppliers and any relevant external body.
The Person
- Proven experience in an equivalent business area with proven account management and business development success
- Self-starter
- Computer literate (good knowledge of MS Office suite – Excel, Word, Power-Point)
- Customer service orientated.
- In depth understanding of the financial services sector with specific focus on Banking (deposits /lending)
- Strong understanding of Conduct Risk, Consumer Duty and how to deliver fair customer outcomes
- Adaptable & flexible
