The Role

Shawbrook are looking to recruit a Product Governance, Insight and Reporting to join our team based in Brentwood. The role will lead the Product Governance process across the Shawbrook Group, for all new products and material changes to financial products, and all subsequent annual product reviews. This role also requires you to build key internal and external relationships with other business areas and brokers.

Responsibilities

Product Governance

  • Lead and manage the governance process for new and/or material changes to products (and revise if necessary)
  • Lead and manage the governance process for annual reviews of existing products (and revise if necessary)
  • Ensure both processes are regulatory compliant
  • Provide governance support for the Businesses / Product Management teams through the process

 

Research

  • Provide market insight for the product owners to inform better product design
  • Provide ongoing market trends
  • Provide ongoing customer research and insight around performance of products to assist with confirmation that products are meeting the needs for which they were designed
  • Provide research support for the Businesses / Product Management teams

 

Regulatory

  • Report all issues of regulatory concern to the CRO, Compliance and Legal Departments

 

Customer (internal & external) 

  • Always focusing on the customer, both in terms of external and internal customers
  • Ensuring the best possible outcome for all customers
  • Develop robust and sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders

 

Risk Management / Controls and Compliance

  • Communicate and escalate potential issues/risks in a prompt and effective manner
