The Role & Responsibilities
About the Role
Shawbrook is a specialist bank built to power ingenuity in financial services. We combine human expertise with smart technology to deliver tailored solutions, and we are growing our Retail Mortgage product team to accelerate innovation across our origination and servicing journeys.
We are hiring a Product Manager to help shape and deliver change across the Retail Mortgage lifecycle. You will work across different parts of the journey depending on business priorities. You will lead discovery, define requirements, guide delivery, and improve experiences for brokers and customers. This is a varied role with meaningful responsibility and plenty of opportunity to influence outcomes.
What you will be doing
Lead discovery and delivery for a range of initiatives across the Retail Mortgage journey (originations, product transfers, broker and customer journeys, servicing enhancements, etc.)
Identify customer, broker and operational needs and turn insights into clear problem statements and opportunities
Translate opportunities into well-defined requirements, user stories and prioritised backlogs
Collaborate closely with engineering, design and data teams to shape solutions and deliver high-quality outcomes
Break down complex workflows into simple, intuitive digital experiences
Work with stakeholders across Operations, Credit, Risk, Legal and Sales to ensure solutions land smoothly
Use data to understand performance and drive continuous improvement
The Person
What we are looking for
Strong product management experience across the full product lifecycle, including discovery and delivery
Experience with mortgages, broker journeys or regulated financial products (useful but not essential)
Ability to simplify complexity and create customer-centred solutions
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Comfortable using data to inform decisions and priorities
Curious, collaborative and outcome-driven mindset
