LAB Investment

• Execute LAB investments in line with mandate
• Working with the Head of Treasury Markets to propose credit lines for a range of investment types including covered bonds and RMBS;
• Maintain monthly, quarterly and annual monitoring of specific investments and also markets/geographies;
• Maintain and enhance investment control framework

FX and IRS

• Ensure accurate execution of FX and IRS within agreed mandates
• Maintain records of swaps and spot trades, provide ALM team with data required
• Continuous improvement of execution process including control environment

Repo

• Work with Head of Treasury Markets to execute Repo and build relationships

Structured & Wholesale Term Funding

• Support wholesale term funding programmes, projects and initiatives which includes Bank of England SMF facilities but also bilateral structured funding;

Counterparty Risk

• Monitor overall exposure to counterparties and look for ways to mitigate risk;
• On-board and monitor new Treasury Counterparties
• Develop the Banks Counterparty Policy

General

• Develop Treasury’s day to day processes, controls and limit adherence;
• Support the development of the Treasury Management System (Quantum);
• Train and instruct junior team members
• Keep up to date with latest regulatory changes (Liquidity, Capital, EMIR etc.)

Education / Qualifications

• Good university degree; or relevant apprenticeship
• Relevant professional qualification eg Cert BALM or ACT

Experience

• Experience in Financial Services with c.2 in a Bank Treasury
• Treasury dealing in a Bank environment including IRS and FX
• Experience of bank Treasury processes and systems including working with a TMS.
• Further experience within a related area beneficial (e.g. ILAAP/Securitisations)

Technical / Specialist Knowledge & Skills

Technical

• Computer literate (good knowledge of MS Office suite – Excel, Word, Power-Point);
• Knowledge of Treasury Management Systems
• Bloomberg knowledge
